  • WOMEN'S DIVISION

    Whether your interests lie in education, fundraising or community service, the Women's Division can enhance your awareness of your Jewish community and offer you the chance to meet new people with similar interests.

Supporting Jews and Jewish Causes

  • JEWISH COMMUNITY RELATIONS COUNCIL

    JCRC serves as the point of connection between the Jewish and non-Jewish community. With its local agenda and broad tent, JCRC builds relations with a diverse range of organizations across the political, ideological and religious spectrum.

  • MISSIONS

    The Jewish Federation of San Diego County sponsors missions to Israel and other Jewish communities around the world. Find out what missions and trips are coming up soon.

  • VOLUNTEERING

    Find amazing volunteering opportunities in the San Diego Jewish community! From mentoring kids and helping our senior citizens to delivering food and teaching a language, you can find many great opportunities to make a real difference in our community.

Providing Jewish Experiences for Children and Teens

  • PJ LIBRARY

    PJ Library is an award-winning program brought to you through the generosity of local philanthropists and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. Through PJ Library, Jewish children in San Diego ages 6 months to 8 years can receive free Jewish-themed books.

  • SHALOM BABY

    Shalom Baby is designed to help San Diego families celebrate the arrival of their Jewish newborns and welcome them to the San Diego Jewish community through gift baskets, play groups, social events, holiday celebrations, and resource guides.

  • MITZVAH MAKERS

    The Mitzvah Makers, a project of Jewish Family Service, provides San Diego Jewish youth the support they need to gain additional meaning from this iconic celebration, and to establish a lasting connection with community service and giving.

  • COMMUNITY TEEN INITIATIVE

    Federation's Community Teen Initiative engages Jewish high school teens and ensures that San Diego is a vibrant, caring and connected Jewish community for generations to come.
