Brunch Club is Back


Let’s learn more about the diverse Jews in our neighborhood!

 

On Thursday, February 24, join Women’s Philanthropy for Brunch Club.

 

This virtual program will highlight the fascinating world of the Indian Jewish community.

Ann Samson was born and raised in India and is one of the leading spokespeople for the Indian Jewish community. Her heritage is a combination of the Jewish communities from India – Bene Israel and Baghdadi (Yemenite and Iraqi).

Samson will take us through a captivating discussion around the history of the three main Jewish communities in India – The Bene Israel, Cochini, and Baghdadi Jews. We’ll hear an overview of their community structure, synagogues, cemeteries, and Jewish day schools, and learn about customs, traditions, and foods of the Jews of India.

 

This event is free, pre-registration is required.
