PJ Library Match

Every month, San Diego’s PJ Library sends out free Jewish children’s literature to Jewish and interfaith families with children aged six months to seven years.

Local families remain on the waitlist - help us reach our goal educating 1,800 children by June 30!

PJ Library is a Shalom Baby program at the Lawrence Family JCC. It was created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and is a beneficiary of Federation’s Shalom San Diego Initiative, which strives to make San Diego the most inclusive and welcoming Jewish community in the nation.

"I just wanted to thank you for supporting PJ library. We have been receiving books since my son Max was crawling. The kids get so excited when the books and CDs come in the mail. We read all of the books and play the music in the car. PJ library brings Jewish culture and conversation into our home. Fortunately my kids are receiving a Jewish preschool education, but for those who do not, this may be the only way they learn about holidays and Jewish culture."
