Individuals or families sign the Book of Life when they promise a legacy gift or establish an endowment of any amount for one or more Jewish organizations or synagogues. These gifts help ensure the future of our Jewish community locally, nationally, in Israel and worldwide.

The inscriptions in the Book of Life detail the personal thoughts, life experiences and the philanthropic vision that inspired the gift. The statements, along with photos of the donor or family, are kept on permanent display at the Jewish Community Foundation’s offices and website.

More than 150 families and individuals have inscribed their names in the Book of Life, expressing their commitment to Jewish values and heritage, and to ensure that our people will survive and flourish.
