We celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and women’s constitutional right to vote in a three-part series. Through music, dance, conversation and more, we honor the pioneers of the suffrage movement and recognize the challenges ahead.

In the second part of the series, local dance company LITVAKdance performs six pieces that explore historical figures of the suffrage movement while also reflecting upon their own role in community. Violinist Meredith Yayanos accompanies the dancers. The program concludes with a conversation about the compositions and storytelling through dance.
